CBMC Monday Manna Takeaway by Sir Next is a weekly personal reflection inspired by Monday Manna, the faith-at-work devotional published by CBMC International for Christian business and professional leaders around the world.
CBMC International is a global association of Christian business and professional leaders active in more than 90 countries, united by a desire to impact the marketplace through lives faithfully lived as followers of Jesus Christ. Its Monday Manna series brings biblical principles into the realities of work, business, leadership, relationships, decision-making, character, and professional life.
As a CBMC member, I make it a personal discipline to read and reflect on Monday Manna each week—not simply as another leadership article, but as an opportunity to examine how biblical truth applies to the way we lead, work, serve, make decisions, and influence people in the marketplace.
From that reflection comes my Monday Manna Takeaway. This is not intended to replace or reproduce the original. It is my personal interpretation and application: identifying the leadership principle that speaks most strongly to me, reflecting on what it means in today’s marketplace, and sharing practical insights fellow entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, leaders, and believers can carry into their week.

Our Christian faith should not end when we enter the boardroom, office, business, classroom, or workplace. The marketplace is one of the places where our character, leadership, integrity, service, and witness are lived out every day.
Through these weekly takeaways, I hope to encourage fellow CBMC members and marketplace leaders around the world to ask: What is God teaching me through this message—and how should it change the way I lead, serve, work, and influence others this week?
