Nestor “Sir Next” Layderos, CPM-Asia, received a Presidential Award from the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) during the Haligi Awards 2024, held alongside the association’s 70th Anniversary Celebration and Turnover & Induction of the New Board of Officers.

The ceremony took place on January 31, 2024, at the Centennial Hall of the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City. The recognition was presented by PMA Past President Sy Bryan Lato, who served as president for 2023–2024.

A high standard for PR and communications

The award commended Sir Next’s leadership and service as PMA’s Director for Public Relations & Communications. During his term, he helped strengthen the association’s communications, public relations, brand visibility, and engagement with the marketing community.

In his personal commendation, Past President Lato recognized Sir Next for setting “a very high standard of handling the Committee of PR & Communications,” while affirming his dedication and commitment to the association.

Recognition made meaningful through collaboration

For Sir Next, the award represented more than an individual achievement. It recognized the collective work of PMA’s Board, committee members, volunteers, and partners who helped advance the association’s communications and advocacy for the Philippine marketing profession.

This Presidential Award became another milestone in Sir Next’s continuing journey in marketing leadership, communications, service, and industry development—proof that meaningful visibility is built through consistent work and shared purpose.

The earlier Presidential Award recognized his support for the association’s 2022 leadership and projects; the later citation documented below was presented during the 2024 anniversary celebration.
