Faith in Action: Haggai Philippines AGA 2026
What does faith look like when it becomes action? Haggai Philippines placed that question at the center of its Annual General Assembly in 2026, bringing its national community together under the theme “Faith in Action.”
A national gathering hosted by Dumaguete
The Philippine Haggai Institute Alumni Association’s AGA 2026 took place on May 1–3 at Bravo Hotel in Sibulan, Negros Oriental. Haggai Philippines – Dumaguete Chapter hosted the gathering. The venue is in Sibulan, while the host chapter carries the Dumaguete name.
The event poster grounds its theme in James 2:14–17, a passage that challenges believers to consider the relationship between a profession of faith and a practical response to another person’s needs. That gives “Faith in Action” a clear direction: belief should be visible in how people respond and serve.
Sir Next’s continuing involvement
Sir Next attended the assembly as part of his continuing connection with the national Haggai community. His participation followed his photo and video documentation volunteer service at AGA 2025 in Baguio City.
The two gatherings mark distinct parts of that journey: an invitation to contribute through documentation in 2025, and continued participation in the national community in 2026. Together they connect learning, fellowship, and practical service.
Putting the theme into everyday leadership
For professionals and marketplace leaders, the theme offers a useful point of reflection. Faith can shape how we listen to people, follow through on commitments, use our resources, and respond when help is needed. Those choices happen in ordinary responsibilities as well as organized ministry.
Within Sir Next’s broader involvement, communication and technical skills provide opportunities to support others. Clear information, thoughtful documentation, and reliable assistance can all serve a community’s purpose. These are reflections on the theme, rather than a claim about specific sessions or resolutions of the assembly.
A continuing national and local journey
The annual assembly sits alongside the ongoing work of local chapters. For Sir Next, that connection continued through volunteer service with Metro Manila Chapter at its September 2026 National Leadership Seminar.
